March 2023 i had a ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. We've been trying to get pregnant again since and I tested positive on 16th January 2024. My periods have been erratic since the ectopic so I didn't exactly know how far along I was but my premom app said 6 weeks. I had a scan and it was a empty sac. I as told I'm probably just too early and to come back in 10 days. They gave me progestrone capsules to stop any miscarriage. I came back in 10 days, the sac doubled in size but still no baby. They said as the sac has grown they can't say its non viable until I have another scan in 7 days but it's unlikely there will be a baby there as they would of expected to see one now. They said I have the slimmest of chances. And they think the only reason I've not bleed is because of the progesterone.

I don't know whether to move on mentally and accept it wasnt meant to be or have faith and believe there will be a baby there at the next scan

Does anyone have any success stories rest can tell me or even a opinion ?

I'm sorry you're going through this Fran. I don't have reassurance for you, but I'm in a similar situation. I had a 6 week 2 day scan that showed an empty gestational sac. The internet gives some positive stories and some unhappy outcomes. All we can do is wait and see, which is the hardest place to be in. I'm wishing you the best outcome.
