7 year old needs glasses

Hi all my little one went to the opticians yesterday for a routine check she has no problems with her eyes can see great and has never complained.

Anyway they have came back and prescribed her glasses and said she is a +2.00 in both eyes

has anyone else child had this for the same strength if so how often do they wear the glasses? Little bit shocked as we had no idea she needed glasses
