  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 1 apple (peeled), diced

  • 1 tbsp mango chutney

  • 400g chopped tomatoes (one tin)

  • 3 chicken breasts, cubed

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 Knorr Zero Salt chicken stock cube

To serve

  • rice

  1. Chop the garlic and onions and fry gently in a large pan until soft

  2. Turn up the heat - add the chicken and cook for another couple of minutes, until the meat is sealed

  3. Add the tinned tomatoes

  4. Half fill the empty tomato tin with water and crumble in your Knorr Zero Salt chicken stock cube. Add to the pan

  5. Finally add the diced and peeled apple and mango chutney

  6. Simmer for about 35 minutes

  7. Serve with rice

Tips

Put everything in the slow cooker and cook for 6-8 hours on medium/low

Add a tin of chickpeas to make the meal go further
