Maple and ginger cocktail sausages

  • 60g butter, room temperature

  • 1kg cocktail sausages

  • 250ml pure maple syrup

  • 60ml cider vinegar

  • 60ml ketchup

  • 60ml soy sauce

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 pinch ground cloves

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/Gas Mark 5.

  2. In a large frying plan, heat the butter and fry the sausages for 2 minutes.

  3. Pour over the maple syrup and leave to cook for a further 1 minute.

  4. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix well to coat all the sausages.

  5. Place the sausages on a baking sheet lined with kitchen foil, and bake for 20 minutes.
