Jennifer Howze, Editorial Director

Jennifer is an award-winning journalist, digital entrepreneur and avid advocate for parents and women.

Prior to her role at Netmums, Jennifer worked at or contributed to a number of leading publications including The Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian and CNN.com, among others.

As well as shaping Netmums content and strategy, Jennifer appears frequently on TV and radio, including Sky TV, Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, BBC’s Breakfast and BBC regional radio.

Charlotte Thomas, Deputy Editor

With more than 15 years' experience as a health and lifestyle journalist.

She has written for leading titles including the Sunday Mirror, Women’s Health, Shortlist and Junior. She also works with major brands, creating content and editorial strategy for Mamas & Papas, H. Samuel, The FA, The Body Coach and more.

Alongside running an award-winning fitness blog, she has led blogging workshops for teenage girls in conjunction with the Youth Sports Trust and Virgin Sport.

Joanna Lovell, Associate Editor

Joanna is an award-winning multimedia journalist with more than 16 years' news reporting experience.

Her stories have been published in dozens of regional titles and in every UK national newspaper. Titles Joanna has written for include The Daily Record, Daily Star, Wales Online, Newcastle Chronicle, Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo, Birmingham Mail, Belfast Live, Cambridgeshire Live, Lancashire Live and Surrey Live – to name a few.

Jo oversees content creation on Netmums alongside her job-share, Associate Editor Louisa Sherlock.

Having been a single mum of two for many years, Joanna is now part of a blended family and has gained a stepson.

Louisa Sherlock, Associate Editor

A former Grazia magazine Features Director, Louisa specialises in women’s issues, fertility, parenting, health, social trends and world news.

At Netmums, she works alongside Joanna Lovell, overseeing newsy content across all Netmums topics as well as working with Netmums commercial partners.

Louisa has over 20 years' experience working in print and online. She's written for publications and websites including the BBC, The Telegraph and Cosmopolitan and also creates content for brands including John Lewis.

Aneira Davis, Social and Newsletter Writer

Aneira joined the Netmums content team as a freelancer in February 2021 before becoming a staff writer in March 2022, focussing on social and newsletters.

She specialises in writing about celebrity, babies, pregnancy and news.

Aneira started her career as editorial assistant for Prima's craft supplement, Prima Makes. She has previously worked in both online and print journalism, having written for publications including Prima, Good Housekeeping and House Beautiful.

Prior to joining the Netmums team, Aneira worked for the Evening Standard's Homes & Property website and other women's lifestyle titles, including Tyla.

Zoe Craig, Associate Editor Local

Zoe started her career in parenting journalism, working at Mother & Baby magazine.

She moved into writing about arts and culture for VisitLondon.com and Londonist.com, including covering the London 2021 Olympic Games. She has contributed to a number of national websites and publications including Stylist, Telegraph.co.uk, Escape magazine, Ocado magazine, Top Sante and TNT magazine.

Amber Middleton

Amber has been a junior content writer at Netmums since July 2023. She covers a wide range of topics including news pieces, money-saving advice and celeb articles. Prior to Netmums, Amber completed a health fellowship at Insider covering topics such as health, sex & relationships and parenting. She has also written for titles including Metro, Refinery29, Giddy, Glamour and Children & Young People Now. Amber has a Magazine Journalism MA from City, University of London.

Simantha Mahmud, Lead Video Editor

Simantha joined Netmums from her own successful lifestyle site, LondonCityGirl. Since joining the team, her viral video strategy has taken the Netmums Facebook and Insta following to over 1.4million, and the combined Netmums video output under Sim’s direction now generates more than 10 million video views per month.

Alison Perry, Social Media Editor

Alison Perry is a journalist with over 22 years experience, starting her career as a writer on the Top Of The Pops website and teenage magazines Sneak, Bliss and More where she interviewed pop stars like Spice Girls and Busted. She launched her award-winning blog Not Another Mummy Blog in 2011 and in 2017, she launched Not Another Mummy Podcast with guests from Emma Bunton and Beth Mead to Philippa Perry and Dr Rangan Chatterjee. She's been Netmums' Social Media Editor since 2022 and co-host of The Netmums Podcast since 2023.

Alison has written for leading publications like Grazia, Mother & Baby, OK!, Marie Claire and Stylist.

She hosted Asda's Little Angels podcast Nappy Natters in 2019 and has created branded content for Volvo, Beauty Pie, Aveeno, Tesco, Sky and Amazon.

In March 2021, Ebury published Alison's first book OMG It's Twins.

Kelly Rose Bradford

Kelly Rose Bradford is an experienced journalist and broadcaster, having spent over 20 years writing about parenting and family life. She has graduated from hands-on mummying as her son is now at university.

Kelly has written for almost all the UK national papers and women’s magazines. She is often called upon as a social commentator for radio and TV and is also a commercial copywriter for brands and businesses.

She has written for and contributed to Red magazine, This Morning, Daydreak, Radio 5Live, BBC Radio London and LBC, among others.

Claire McAteer

With 13 years of experience writing and editing for national magazines and newspapers, Claire has a passion for all things health, wellness and shopping. She enjoys finding new ways to produce content that helps others feel healthier and happier.

Claire loves sport, nature and the outdoors and is a qualified yoga teacher. She has represented Great Britain in tag rugby and has played in various tournaments around the world. She currently is based in the Cotswolds, where she runs and wild swims in the nearby lakes!

Claire has written for leading titles including Bella, Best, That's Life and The Telegraph. She's also worked for Bauer Media Australia as a copywriter and travel editor, living in Sydney for two years. Whilst at Bauer Media UK, she helped develop a brand new health and wellbeing print magazine, Simply You, which she edited for three years.

Alongside her journalism career, Claire also qualified as a secondary school English teacher.

Rhalou Allerhand

Rhalou Allerhand is journalist, writer and digital editor specialising in health and wellness content. In addition to writing for Netmums, she's worked across titles such as Netdoctor, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Runner’s World, Prima, Red and Cosmopolitan.

Katy Salter

Katy is an experienced and professional food and travel journalist, copywriter, content producer and web/print editor. She writes about food for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Times, and most of the UK’s major food magazines. She also works with leading food and travel brands on branded content. Her first cookbook, Dairy-Free Delicious, was published by Quadrille in the UK and Countryman Press in the U.S.

Polly Logan-Banks, Chat Newsletter

Polly has more than 7 years’ experience writing and editing pregnancy and parenting content, including health content that meets the rigorous NHS Information Standard guidelines. Her mission is to give all parents the information they need to have a happy and healthy family life. She honed her expertise during her previous role as Content Editor at BabyCentre UK.

Prior to joining the pregnancy and parenting sector, she wrote for a range of commercial brands, including Cadbury, Veet and Clearasil.
